Hi, I have a Saab 9-3 Linear Sport TiD (120). It hasn´t been out for a couple of weeks and a couple of days ago the battery went dead. I´ve just taken it to the garage to fit a new one but they informed that the battery is very good, as is the alternator. They suggested that I might have an electrical fault. On the dashboard a warning comes up for a failed right indicator, although all my indicators are working perfectly. I´ve had it on charge and driven around and it´s been starting all day. The dashboard warning disappeared for a while then returned. Is this a common fault in the saab? Do you think it is an electrical problem, and if so, could anyone recommend an electrician in the Bristol area please? Thank you.

Most good mechanics should know what to do but it is very expensive to have dashboards removed so be very cautious before you commit. I the car works well then I would just live wirh it. You didn't say the year of your saab btw.

f the dashboard isn't lighting up at all, your car might have blown a fuse. Removing the old fuse and replacing it should get the lights working again. While the new fuse may do the trick, it could also indicate a deeper electrical problem
