I know this will sound funny, but does anyone have a schematic for the dash lighting rheostat assembly? Mine has a loose connection in it somewhere and rather than fork out 60 quid to fix it I'm trying to do it myself. While I'm at it I figure I might as well try and hardwire it to being full brightness, since that's what I leave it at anyway

Anyway, it seems to have quite a few pins on the back of it... the top two (1 & 5) seem to be for the LED, but the rest I can't make head nor tail of! Has anyone got any idea?

jule's sorry no diagrams but my dimmer switch used to mess about [ lights went out if not on full brightness ] i took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts on the aduster part & also opened the copper fork part a bit, this cured mine ok. hope yours is just as easy regards redrocket
