In theory, yes.
But in practice an awful lot of bits are required. Conventional H&V systems use cables to move the flaps that direct air to the various vents. In ACC the whole lot is computer controlled so, as well as the sensors mentioned above, you need the stepper motors and wiring to move the internal flaps. It would mean a lot of parts and a complete dash out fitting job.

Martin's right- it's a complete dog to try to retro fit. "Standard" AC was a dealer fit option, but ACC was a build it in at the factory job. I enquired about the possibility of doing this a while back from my local indy (when he was quiet)and he said he didn't want the job...

So I s'pose you just have to be content with simple AC- and the knowledge that at least there's a few less things to go wrong, and probably a small weight saving as well
