on my muptun tuned 9000 i do not seem to have the max 6000rpm cut out does anyone know if they shift the cut out to a higher figure.

Curious, I though all Viggen's (and probably 9-5 Aero's?) left the factory with a 6400 redline - mine has.

According to the owner's manual the 9-3 Viggen's actual fuel cut out is at 6000 rpm ... HOWEVER. It allows a 1/2 second grace period between 6000-6400 rpm. So after 1/2 second above 6000, or anytime it reaches 6400 on the 2.3L motor, it cuts the engine. On the 2.0 it's the same but with a 6200 ablsolute cut. Hope that's helpfull.
