Customer Loyalty Cards....

Hi again.

After having an oil change and a fog light from the local main dealership (Concept Saab, Sutton Coldfield) they have sent me a loyalty card thing.
Needing a 114K service very soon I gave them a ring. It works out at exactly the same cost as the local, and excellent indie (WMSS). So I have booked in with them for next friday.

Just wondered if anyone else had heard from main dealers with this scheme, and if so, did you find any draw backs?

The card and letter state there is 10% of parts and 25% off labour.

I actually feel loathed to move away from the indie I have used for the last 4 years as they have always been excellent, however, they seem to have built up a great reputation and have a longer waiting list than Concept! So, will give them a go and see if their service and customer care is as top notch as WMSS.

Cheers.

Each to their own, but I don't understand why you don't ask them to better the deal so they retain your customer loyalty that you admit above you are satisfied with! It is all about building a relationship with specialists who know more than you and can deliver want you want, doing favours etc

Having known the three of them, (yes originally there were three partners at WMSS, which quickly went to 2!,) I personally would not send my Saabs to any other place in the Midlands! We simply have to book well in advance. Mrs silversam's 9-3 has known no other servicing since delivery mileage and it has faultlessly delivered 91K, as all Saabs should, BUT at a very noticeable difference in our bank balance, customer service level, vehicle reliability, problem workarounds and every other measure I can think of!

Indies are worrying the main dealers.....about time, that is why indies exist!!!!

Kind regards

silversam
