Speed Ferries have just announced an offer of £27 each way, open tickets valid from September 2006 to Sept 2007, for prepurchase from now. See their website.

I'm in France for the weekend using up the ones I bought last September. I bought 4 at £25 each. Then I found that if I travelled outside of school holidays I could still find sailings at £19 on most days.

So I had to have a trip now or else I'd lose the money

We did exactly that this time last year, came home from our holiday in France having used Speed Ferries, got an e-mail offering open returns for a good price, booked two returns thinking we would use them then never did due mainly to this little fella

Arrived this Wednesday! That meant the family holiday in France went out of the window so it's now Cornwall in October and, as little Ellis is offspring number 4 that means we can't fit all the family in my Saab.
