Model - `89 registered 2.0l 16v Turbo with DI unit. 200,000Miles +
Car has New DI unit, second hand airflow meter, new idle valve @ 140,000M, new plugs, fuel filter, vacuums, new throttle position switch.
Problem - When coasting down hill, lifting off throttle, car kangaroos. Most noticable between 1500-2000. This is rectified by opening throttle a tad. Starting is fine, as is running under load, although at certain times, a slight misfire can be felt. Any ideas?

BillJ will be more help than me but I had a similar problem when rolling at slow speeds and rpm's. Turned out to be a bad motor mount (actually 2). The engine was shifting back and forth slightly causing the car to "hop".

I certainly hadn't thought of that, but it's definitely a possibility.
