Hello All,

The Saab is getting a small "kerbside motors" service, however when I went to Halfords for BCPR7ES-11 spark plugs they did not have them, however they went on to their computer and came up with NGK V-Grooved electrode BCPR6E-11 plugs, I was told that the only difference was the 7 to 6 and no S meant that they had the ability to work at higher temps, the plugs have been in for 2-3 weeks but I have had no probs, although I was on the "elkparts website" tonight and it states that the BCPR6ES-11 should not be used in turbo cars (i have a 94 cse 2.0 eco), can someone shed any light on the subject ??

Thanks Haggag01

The handbook with my 96 CDE 2.0 LPT Auto states that 4 cylinder injection engines should use NGK BCPR 6ES and that turbos should have 7ES fitted.

Things could have changed since the book was printed of course.
