Hi all first time on here and needing some honest help. I have a 2011 9-3 convertible and am trying to fit a pioneer android auto head unit . After reading a few forums dynamic sounds seemed to be the place to go for all the necessary wiring so spoke to them and bought ctksa01 complete fitting kit.

as highlighted in the picture this lead is an amp pass through stalk adapter. I cannot see anywhere to plug this in and it also says it is for a Mazda Bose. I cannot understand why this is in my kit can anyone please help me. Here is the back of my basic stereo if that helps anyone to understand what System I have and what I need to do.

any help would be much appreciated as that 1 wire has got the better of me. Thanks to your all nick.

Hello and a warm welcome aboard the good ship saabscene N-kw
If you could upload a picture of the front of yours that would be great .
If yours is like mine with the big on/off volume button in the middle and the display above then you have the premium 150 .
Now mine which is a saloon my amp was in the boot behind a flap .
I purchased the kit without that lead .
The link above shows the kit I purchased.
Hope that helps .
Those kits are a doddle .and even I understood the fitting instructions.

The part circles in the original post os the signal level converter for the amplifier.
Now some cars need it to raise the level output (or lower it cant rememebr exactly).
I think it is probably only needed for the hig harman kardon system as I didnt need it when
I fitted a system to my Vector spec which had the Premium 150.
You will have likely sorted this by now .......

Yeah it is the big button version I ordered the kit for the amp which made it a bit awkward cos they don't tell you in the instructions that you have to cut plastic plugs and join amp wires too and also with it being an android auto system you have to bypass the handbrake safety system so the head unit thinks you have hand brake on or most of the functions don't work but I got there in the end .
