Had a close call last night I must have accidently activated comfort opening of my windows and sunroof as I walked away from my car (in my pocket)?? Luckily it didn't rain last night (it has been all week), it was a bit damp with condensation but no where near as bad as it could have been!

My question is there anyway to disable this function I hardly ever use it anyway, especially in the winter!?

cheers

Your lucky especially with Kent's weather this week. I'm pretty sure a tech 2 can disable it not 100% sure though.[/b]
mate you are not far wrong had it been any other night this week with the storms we have had the inside would shagged to put it mildly!

Think you are right about tech2, apparently tech2 can also turn on comfort closing which is off be default even if you have anti pinch, some sort of euro health and safty thing.

Also did a bit more diging to put my mind at rest just incase it did it by itself and it wasn't me pressing the button in my pocket as I walked away, couldn't find any info on saabs doing this but there was a know problem with some mini's.

As I understand the instructions on pinch protection reset....

If you disconnect the battery, the pinch protection needs to be reset.

Until the pinch protection is reset the comfort close will not work.

Maybe disconnecting the battery will disable the comfort open too? Until the pinch protection is reset?

So disconnecting the battery may work until you can get to a dealer with Tech2.

Lucky it wasn't this evening , anyway if I read this right you're saying that your comfort closing doesn't work but your comfort opening obviously does? My comfort closing works and when anti-pintch needed resetting it worked but the window that anti-pinch just went down again.
