I had a same sort of thing. When engaging the clutch you get a kind of creek and if you brake hard and then take off again you get the creek. I have my engine mounts changed as they were shot (got a really heavy buzzing through the gearstick) but it didnt solve the creeking. I took it back to my loacal Saab Specialist and he knew what it was straight away. It was where the subframe bolts needed torquing up. Common he said and after he did this it was all sorted. Took about 1/2 and hour all in all..

ran the aero up on the ramps..
and yes there was a lot of bolts under there that needed tightening especially on the drivers side
did the cobble test ..result !!

happy man ..took all of 20 mins

got me thinking ..the 9000 must be quite "loose" around the front maybe a bit of judicious strengthening /buttressing would help the handling

The same probably started up with me today. I get a clunk when I engage the clutch, sometimes not all the time.

Would you recommend hand tightening it with out the proper torque settings, cuz my dad refuses to buy an $80 wrench (i don't have the money to do so)

If you do not have a torque wrench or you can't beg borrow or steal one then "good and snug" will be the best that you can do I guess. Are you sure that the engine mounts are in ok shape? as they can account for a clunk noise if worn.

It is better but there is still a clunk so I guess the mounts are on the way out

I do have two torque wrenches.. but I did them "nice and snug"...(like that phrase !!)cos I could not be ar55ed...
