Hello everyone, I have a 1994 (1993) Saab 900 s convertible non-turbo. I just purchased it a few weeks ago and it has been running great, albeit a bit hot. The guy I purchased it from included a new thermostat that he was going to put in but hadn’t gotten around to by the time I purchased it. Today I decided to replace the thermostat and now it won’t start. When I turn the key the light come on, the starter engages, the engine turns over at the correct speed, but it doesn’t fire. After not firing for a few seconds I let off the key and it sputters once and dies. Any thought on what I might have screwed up while changing the thermostat? I can’t imagine the thermostat itself would be the cause.
