Hi

My Central Locking has a problem that is now getting worse.

If I lock the car (with the key) from the drivers door, only the drivers door locks and no central locking is activated.

If I lock the car from the passenger door, it central locks. BUT I do have to hold the key in the 'lock' position for about 1 - 2 secs for this to happen. This is what the drivers door was doing, but now it just wont operate the central locking at all.

To unlock, its the otherway round. Unlock from the drivers door and it 'central' unlocks. Unlock from the passenger door and only the passenger door unlocks.

O and the lock / unlock switch by the window switches works fine!

Any ideas cos its getting on my nerves now!!

Cheers All

Anthony

I agree with StephenA. The switches are internal to the central locking motors, which are quite expensive from Saab. However, there are details of a much cheaper replacement in another thread in this forum. Do a search on "Central locking".
