Well it didn't today

Not to bad, but....

Both bottom ball joints very gone
Both headlights have no pattern at all
The centre exhaust box gone (and the old aero one don't fit).

More money....not to bad though, just got to work out how to fix the lights.

Hi have you fitted replacement bulbs lately? Incorrect fitment can cause this as can water ingress which attaches itself to the glass.Might be helpful

Headlamps..
either bulbs upside down... 90% of cases when I fail em.. but I hope your ok on that score!
Water ingress as mentioned...
Pure dirt on the glass
Or the usual 9000 reflector corrosion/dullness.

Lights have correctly fitted vision plus bulbs (and the MOT'er tried different bulbs too.

Lenses are clean and clear (although one is cracked but not holed and not letting in moisture).

I think that the reflectors may be getting to 'EoL'

Lights look and perform well at night. Unfortunatly I don't know anyone now with those sort of lamps to do a trial MOT with....

Exhaust will probably be replaced with a suitable 3" JT equiv from those nice elk people as price is comparable with walker and the like.

Cat back or maybe even the full cat free monty.

Ball joints will be fun as the pinch bolts have siezed in their holes.
