Got the Carly booked in with Ken Jones to take a look at the TCS.

He's very enthusiastic about Saabs - he was telling me about how much LSD had transformed his car. Nice to know someone so enthusiastic will be looking at the car!

The car will have to go once the TCS is sorted, as the Mrs has lost her part time job. Wasn't a lot of money, but enough for my "toy" to become too much of a burden

4. ditch Mrs.
5. find V.rich married woman to become toyboy of.
6. Continue to enjoy car.

I'd take Julian up on that if I were you Kevin, as I said in a previous post keep it on a SORN until things look up.

I've got to be honest though, the CD I've got now beats the Carlsson on all counts except looks. So I don't miss mine that much at the mo. However, if the only thing I got to drive was a Passat ... hmmmm.

Glad you've entrusted ol' Ken with the ol' carly Kevin. Sorry to hear its got to go though . The Aero is there at the moment for new clutch and a box overhaul- syncro cones and new bearings etc. Should run like new when it comes back .

Ken Jones is a Saab Specialist mechanic in Rugby, UK.

He has had nothing but praise from people on these boards who've used him before. This will be my cars first time at Ken's, after getting disillusioned with my current "Specialist".

Suppose this thread wouldn't make too much sense to most people not knowing who he was! Should have mentioned that straight off.

Like Kevin i have become a little unhappy with my "specialist" but the thought of returning to Saab Wimbledon and the special way that they treat you just doesn't bare thinking about.
