Hello all, new to this site but have used forums before.

OK, recently bought a 1990 9K S Turbo, the guy I bought it off is a colleague so I can trust him.
The car used to start and drive fine but would not idle, but now the car refuses to start.
The engine fires as if it is going to start then immediatly dies, if however you pump the throttle pedal it will sort of run but at about 200rpm. I have been to local saab dismantlers and they checked DI cassette and said all ok. Disconected fuel line and when cranking fuel gushes out so don't think pump is shagged.

Any ideas please.

Cheers Jason

Oh yes it will!!

At least my 9-5 ran fine but would cut out randomly. Replaced crank sensor and all was well again until I sold the car 6000 miles later. Could have been coincidence, I suppose, but the cutting out was getting to be once a week.
