I've always wondered how you go about buying cars on Ebay - how do you know the condition of the car before you buy it? From what I can see you have to bid first then pick up the car - surely by then if the car is a wreck, it's too late.

I see Quarryef had a problem buying a car off Ebay - anyone know how this process works (i.e. how can you bid for a car you've never seen?)

I buy and sell a lot of items on ebay..you have to trust the seller and check his ratings..a lot is down to chance, but touch wood in the 3 years Ive used it everything has been spot on....I guess you have to use the "if its to good to be true it proberley is approach" genuine car sellers will let you go and check them first, and if you do bid blind and the car is a shed when you go to collect it Hell just turn around and walk off
