Have just bought my MY97 9000 turbo griffen and was thinking of upping the power a tad.

Will I notice a difference?

200bhp>235
323nM>401

Being an auto, will the change effect the box or the APC?

hi
from what ive being told upgradeing a auto can be done safey but the power is made to come in at higher rpm due to the gearbox which can not take much over 300nm before it blows . ive had three autos one was a cse 2.3 200bhp which left black lines on a pull away. i put 60.000 on the already 100,000 still drove sweet then again a worn box just wont take any abuse or bhp increase

Some of the specialist tuners have spent a great deal of time and money developing their upgrades for the autos. This includes limiting boost in the lower gears and even retarding the ingnition during gear change to reduce torque.

I'd recommend you take time to discuss with your upgrade supplier how they accomodate the auto.

As for noticing the improvement, oh yes
