Had the Saab for just over a week now and despite the bodywork still being reasonably clean the wheels have gone from silver to filthy! Thinking that this is going to be an ongoing thing with the brake dust coating my wheels after a fresh clean so I'm thinking about getting them refurbed in anthracite. What do you reckon? Would it look ok or too grey!?

Well thats certainly an option although intend to get the wheels refurbed at some point. Can;t seem to find ceramic pads on Google any links? Thank you for the suggestion :)

I gave up using the green pads because they still made almost as much dust and it seemed harder to remove. The red pads are probably okay if you drive a bit harder as they need to get hot to work at their best.

Now I just make sure I keep the wheels well waxed inside and out and wash them a clean each week. Even if I don't have time to wash the whole car I'll just give the wheels a quick splash.

Thanks for all the suggestions! The pads are fairly new so I won't be replacing them anytime soon, however when the time comes I'll get uprated ones. Saw a car with mirror chrome today covered in brake dust and it didn't really look any better.... Guess it'll just be more satisfying when I clean them :)

Thanks for the suggestions
