Hi all,
just a quick question,
just took the car out after its been sitting for a week, and my boost gauge has mysteriously stopped working,
Most likely the hose has come adrift????
Can anone post a pic showing where the hose is routed and where it joins onto the engine.

Has it lost boost as well? If a hose has come off the gauge I would have thought it would have killed the boost.

It's probably failed around the Y piece that splits the feed from the manifold to the boost gauge and dump valve. It sits just below the intake manifold rubber elbow. If it's not immediately obvious, trace the hose back from the dump valve.

It won't make any difference to boost levels as the quantity of air that can be lost through such a small dia tubing is negligible compared to what is going in to the engine.

However the dump valve won't be working, so there will be be compressor stall inbetween gear changes.

ok guys, thanks for that, ill get a chance to look at it after new year,its not lost boost, so ill guess its just the hose that bubbles is talking about.

UPDATE
The hose had blew off at the T-Piece,
so i think im gonna replace all the hoses when i get a chance

best to zip tie them into place (the littlelest ones are best for the small hoses)..

I buy them in bulk from costco !!
