Hi all

I got fed up with the horrible off black/grey colour of my door mirrors recently and decided to spray them to a gloss finish. I know this is pretty easy as my car is black anyway, but for the sake of a couple of hours of sanding with various grades, priming/rubbing/priming/rubbing/glossing, the effects are really pretty good.

Anybody else tried this, and does anyone know which models should have body coloured mirrors on?

Mhmmmm, sound interesting what you did...
Can you post the procedure you used? What kind of primer, paint, sanding paper...

carly's have
I know cos both of mine are cracked

I was thinking of getting "ordinaries" and spraying them up....

For what it's worth, I have a 1992 model year CS Carly in Talledaga Red and that has painted door mirrors to match.
