I managed to get more parts for my build, that's why I'm offering the BlueSaab v6.1 module for sale. I also got the original connectors, so I'll add a set with a brand new CDC cable, just Plug&Play...literally without the need for programming with Tech2. I can upload the latest firmware v6.1.1 with or without displaying songs on the SID (the version with displaying songs is only suitable for cars without SPA). The module has been tested, it uses the Bluetooth 3.0 standard, so the sound is great and control from the steering wheel is preserved.
For those not familiar with this mod...BlueSAAB works for every 9-3/9-5 OG with a Pioneer head (or a Denso head with navigation) and works by basically replacing the CD changer that was installed in the trunk. The module replaces this CD changer and therefore does not have a microphone and cannot be used as a full-fledged handsfree. This is an open source product of enthusiasts and is therefore not a serial commercial product. Anyone with enough equipment and knowledge can make it at home. The price corresponds to the current state of the parts market.
In the package, I will deliver a complete module in a box with a CDC cable and simple installation instructions. Furthermore, the buyer will read in the manual how to easily adjust the power supply of the CD changer in the fuse box in order to eliminate a minor ailment of the module. The Bluesaab has a constant small consumption when idle, which can be a problem if the car is not driven every day. After adjustment, the power supply to the module is disconnected with the ignition key.
