Well to explain, it can be a few possibilities. One is a leak in the heater core or some other source of extra water in the inside of the car. In my wife’s 05 conv I have to use a product on the canvas top every few years to fix the waterproofing as the rear footwells get wet. A little canvas treatment and good, all dry.
so first question do you smell coolant (smells sweet) or other water in car? If so fix that.
If not the main way the car normally fixes that is the ac compressor is on most times (even in the winter) to dry out the air in the car to prevent fog ups. Is you r ac blowing cold when you turn the temp down?
