Hey everyone, it's Trevor. As the owner of a 'classic' '93 Saab 900, I know that finding parts is challenging, to say the least. So whenever I come across some info. that may be useful...to anyone, I like to share it with others.

This past weekend, I was searching online for auto parts. Specifically, a set of rear shocks and struts. To my surprise, I stumbled upon a very affordable set of struts. Here's the url: http://apxautoparts.com/shocks-stru...-rear-set-2-pieces-new-lifetime-warranty.html

In addition to the budget-friendly price, a 5% discount (code: 900-5off) was also being offered, which I could not pass up. My total was...$29.62 :D! How about that? Not too bad for Black Friday, right? Anyways, I hope this has been of some help...Please let me know if you are looking to replace a set of rear shocks and struts for your Saab 900. Thanks.

I'm on the lookout for a pair of shocks for my 1990 saab 900. Because it's over 25 yrs old I would prefer not to spend a huge amount of money in parts. Just out of curiosity do you know if the above discount is still valid tre1? Are you satisfied with the quality of your parts not just the price?

I definitely understand where you're coming from bradyroker. My 900's a '93 which means three years of less wear and tear essentially. You're absolutely right though...parts for older vehicles could be more affordable.

I really don't have any complaints. After all, it's only been about 4 months since my shocks were installed. Thanks for asking about my parts. I wasn't entirely familiar with the Sensen brand, but I like them thus far. Here's Sensen's website http://www.sensen-na.com/, if you're interested.

Honestly, I don't know whether the discount is still valid or not. Let me look into it, and I'll get back to you. Now are you looking for a set of front shocks? Or rears?

On second thought a friend of mine suggested I should think about buying a pair of rears too. He said something about it's not such a good idea to have two different pairs of shocks on my car. If the front two need to be replaced its only a matter of time before you're replacing the rear two. Makes sense.

The discount is still valid! I used the shopping cart to verify this. Most people probably don't have a clue it still works.

I agree with your friend bradyroker. You should probably replace the shocks on the front and the shocks on the rear. Here's a set of rears like the ones I had installed on my '93 http://apxautoparts.com/sensen-rear...1979-1993-saab-900-new-lifetime-warranty.html. And here's a set of fronts also http://apxautoparts.com/sensen-fron...1979-1993-saab-900-new-lifetime-warranty.html. They should match your '90.

I don't know if the discount can be applied to both the fronts and rears, though. But you're welcome to try it. See what happens.
