yeah, at idle, the gauge is at the white/green, and when under load, it goes to the yellow/red border, and very very rarely into the red, ive seen it there about twice in the time ive had the car (about 3 months), so that sounds like good news, would you agree

Yep, sounds like the apc is allowing the boost to operate correctly.
