I've no idea about what the parts are but if you are prepared to make your own cables, either RS or Farnell will supply practically everything connector wise.

Their websites are

http://rswww.com/

http://www.farnell.com/

both of which have full lists of their catalogues.

However you may need to plough through the websites for some time as there is an awful lot in there....
You may need to get a number of the connector itself, usually moulded into the plastic somewhere.

Also after a quick browse (you can tell I've got a presentation to write ) I found this

http://www.clarionworld.co.uk/install/saab.asp

Do any of those connectors look familiar?

Cheers

the power cable i will be able to work out but the amp cable on the old one is a round plug with 7 pins in it the connector on the new one is rectangular with 8 pins no way of knowing what goes where seems a shame to have to junk the old amp as it is ok but without a diagram i am lost, no use with rewiring anyway

Yes, blind electronics is never much fun, and there is always a chance things get hooked up back to front and start fizzing (guess how I know this.... )

Sorry I couldn't help....
