The Saab dealer over here in Augusta, Maine (where I'm on holiday) is selling the 92X for about $22,000.

So I thought I might pop in and give it a check over and maybe take a couple of photos.

Well I didn't get any photos but had a good look round one and it looks very good. I picked up the brochure which has some good photos and a CD in it so I'll scan the brochure when I get home and check out the CD too.

Frankly I think that Saab are being silly NOT selling the 92x in Europe and the UK because I'm sure it would find a market.

I understand they are not selling it in Europe since Subura has a developed market base in the EU and this vehicle overlaps with the Scooby (whereas it doesn't in the USA).

I also saw a 9-2x in the flesh last week and it very much looks the stop-gap measure that it undoubtedly is. The first Saab since 1997 with no SAHR, for instance.

But does it overlap with the scooby? If it overlaps here then it overlaps in the States as well where Subaru are really pushing the brand.. including an "LL Bean" edition 4x4.
