Responding to a previous posting has reminded me to post this one. I am thinking of changing the rather boring standard alloys on my 1991 9000 cse 2.3 turbo to something a little more interesting, and possibly wider. Far from it, I am not a heavy footed driver, so I am not particularly interested in shaving hundredths of seconds in the pursuit of performance, but it has not gone unnoticed that in the wet, even though there is plenty of tread on the tyres, that corning can be rather interesting, to say the least. Hence an opportunity. Any thoughts ?
