Advice please. How would I know if the airflow meter was faulty? I have cleaned it with Carb Cleaner as per past threads. The car runs fine normally but as per my past post, I have not manged to narrow down the problem of the car intermittently "bucking" under load. The power is non existant and then after a few minutes will return.The indy is pointing to the gearbox which would be an expensive job so I want to rule out all other cheaper possibilities. Does the sensor get affected by external temperature?

If you do a search you should find someone has posted the voltage readings you should obtain from the sensor.
