Hello folks..

I'm a bit confused. Been reading Haynes, Quasimotor, Townsend info but one thing I can;t figure out is if the Idle Speed Control Valve and the Automatic Idle Control are the same thing? It's easy to get confused by different terminology

My car is a '91 2.3 turbo. Doesn't seem to have cold-start injector or AAD which I think is right, but I can't see any idle control on top of the inlet manifold.

Is there any fool proof method to figure out which version of the LH you have?

if your manifold is the twin type/my 91 2.3s was, then the icv is between top and lower inlet manifold,acess via l/h side............viewed from front.
