Hi,
Just a query...are you sure your car has door speakers? I've been looking at mine after changing a tape player for a CD player. When checking that all was OK I found that I had a blown dash speaker and no sound from the door speakers. On investigation, there are no door speakers!

Apparently this was an optional extra. The door speakers added the bass to the front dash speakers as far as I can tell. Otherwise it relies on the rears.
