I need some incite on this one. I have seen many posts about upgrading the regulator on classic 900’s but almost nothing on NG900s. The stock fuel injector on my 1996 900 SE is 3.0 bar and I would like to increase it to ~3.8 bar. I know that there are at least three different types of regulators; set, adjustable and rising rate. I would like to get an adjustable regulator but would it be better to use a rising rate? I know of at least one NG900 owner who has crushed the stock regulator to 3.8 bar but I do not want to do that to mine.

I have heard that the T5 system can compensate for ± 25% change in fuel flow. But that is a pretty vague statement and doesn’t really help at all.

Thanks,
Eric
