I know it's an anorak subject and not important, but my curiosity has got the better of me.
My Aero is a 1996 model with a first day (01/08/96) 'P' plate registration. On every other 'P' plate Aero I've seen there is a '2.3 Turbo' script badge on the rear panel under the off side light cluster. Mine doesn't have this and appears never to have had this. Was this a dealer fit item or a 97 model fittment? Any one else out there with a 96 model that has this badge?

I have a '96 2.3 Turbo, not an Aero :-(( and it doesn't have the badge either and also appears never to have had one.

Not that this proves anything, but my Jul 94' Aero only had an aero badge (before i took it off)

My 96 MY Aero but late N plate has an Aero badge only at the back. There's a P plater in my road and that does have 2.3T badge also

OK, guess these are 97 model fittments then....back the important technical issues then!
