I guess most people go by the resulting pressure at the inlet manifold created by the wastegate being shut. Is your boost pressure low, lizard? If around 1 bar (14.5 psi) then you've got good pressure for a standard Aero, if it's lower then perhaps there's a problem.

You can disconnect the pipe from the actuiator and try to blow/suck throw it. You should not be able to.

Also, you abd carefully connect a car foot pump and gentley inflate to check the rod moves out and hold out until the pressure is reduced.

hi to all
thanks 4 the info i will try them. iam getting good boost reading in the car but not all ways the power to go with it? i wos thinking maybe a sticking waste gate or weak spring in the actuator. i do the other things u guys have siad c what gos from ther
