Hi all,
i think it could be my actuator thats on its way out, does anyone know of cheap suppliers for a new one, saab are wanting around 200 plus vat

Hi there, thanks for that, im not sure whether to go for an uprated one or not, as its to try and fix the problem of overboosting, so im not sure if putting in an uprated one will add another problem into the system????

I believe your actuator probably is working OK as you've been able to adjust the base boost pressure.

Best hold tight until the specialist has been able to check if there's an ECU fault IMO.

its a bit of a funny one, through reading various old posts on here, with similar problems, causes have been, faulty actuator, faulty map sensor or faulty solenoid.
solenoid is done, could it be that the actuator is sticky? diaphram inside it worn/leaking?
