This could be linked with my other postings.
My handbook says the ACC should be recalibrated after the battery has been disconnected.

It says press AUTO and Panel vents buttons simulatiously.

I do this with ign on but engine not running, and it does absolutly nothing.

Am I doing it wrong, or is there a fault ?

If i memory serves me right the engine has to be running, as if it is stopped the air con will not be running so can't do a recalibration of the system.

Correct the engine needs to be running. You should hear the flaps operating.

Make sure you press the two buttons together not one first (holding it down) whilst you press the second.

Yes, that did it.

No errors .... at least I think that is what is meant by the '0' that appears, but I was a little confused by it appearing before the lights illuminate up and down the ACC panel.

I believe the 0 appears at the beginning (it does on the 9-5) and changes to 1, 2, 3 etc. as the diagnostics finds the faults.
