Hiya
just back from 2 weeks holiday in Suffolk. (Excellent)
One night heading back to the farm, as I went round a right hand bend, the ABS light came on.
When I straightened up it went out.
Next day as I was driving, it came on and stayed on until I parked up.
It hasn't been on since apart from the check when I start the car. Seems to be OK.
Should I be worried about impending doom and a trip to the main Dealer ?

Yeah, I agree.

It's also the first sign of wear and tear in the front suspension, giving just enough play in the components to stop the ABS sensor picking up the signal.

If you've got a spare half-hour, type "abs sensor" in search and you'll find all the info you could possibly hope for - and more!

Thanks.
That might also explain why the car now feels a bit "wandery" on the motorway.
Nothing really noticable and no play in the steering but I did find myself correcting the just that wee bit.
I remember seeing a posting about the bushes in the front end causing the car to have a vague feeling going straight ahead at speed on the motorway.
Most of my driving is around town so I dont normally notice.

Thanks again.
