Hi everyone,
would appreciate your advices
Was driving the car yesterday & decided I needed to lock the doors from inside with the centre console switch
When I came to lock the car after getting out the central locking function didn't! - checked fuse 16 which had blown - replaced it & central locking was restored with the igntion key

Then I used the centre console switch again & the fuse blew again

Any ideas what we should check & how

I had a similar problem with a fuse persistently blowing. I started by disconnecting each door actuator motor in turn, and it turned out that one of them was faulty (fuse didn't blow when that one was disconnected). Fitted a second-hand motor & everything OK. I found that the door button on the problematic motor went up & down more slowly, and with a slight delay on the others, before the fuse below. This might help to narrow it down - otherwise you might end up stripping all 4 doors if you don't get lucky.

I'd hazard a guess at the drivers door being the faulty one. That one doesn't get much use if you normally lock it with the key and would be more prone to sticking.
