2008 93 TTID here. The other day the primary/small turbo stopped working all of a sudden. Ultra slow up to 3k revs when the secondary turbo comes on and then it’s fast again. No warning lights and no weird noises.
I have already swapped over the boost control valves which had no effect.
I have also checked that the actuator on the turbo switchover is free and moving which it is. I can also see the actuator moving when the car is switched on.
All vacuum lines are fine as far as I can see.
Am I right in thinking the only thing left to do is replace the turbos? If there is any other checks I can do please let me know!
