Hello everyone!
I've successfully installed a Kenwood KMM BT306 stereo on my car.
Everything works perfectly, but I would really like to have the steering wheel controls working on the new stereo.
There are some interfaces from connects2, PAC etc but only for models up to 2003 or above 2007. My model is left out..
Can't find any solution for the 2004 model.
I've read that there is a wire from the steering wheel that carries the controls but also carries the horn, which is not ideal...
I've also read about the IBUS and how tightly it works, but I don't understand well how it works, not sure if there is any wire that only carries the steering controls to the ICM and leaves the horn alone...
Is there anyone that has the knowledge or that has made the controls work on a aftermarket stereo?

Hey Paulo934.
Try this product. You will have to set some dip switches to work with your Kenwood head unit but the instructions will guide you through.
