I was driving home from work the other day and saw a white 9000 CDE. It looked exactly like my 91 except it said CDE on the back instead of CD. Did they do this only in 1992? I also heard a definate atmospheric valve on it. I thought 92s still had AMMs with the jetronic fuel system that won't work with atmospheric valves? Am I missing something or are aftermarket recirc DVs a LOT louder than the original? (Could hear it even with my windows up)

You can use a twin piston atmos dump valve with AMM cars to overcome idle problems associated with leaks but you still run the risk of stalling due to overfuelling when the already measured intake air is released to atmosphere when the throttle shuts rapidly after boost.
