I've heard mention of Hirsch, Speedparts, Maptun, etc.

No-one seems to have mentions Superchips (www.superchips.co.uk)

They have an ECU mod that takes 150bhp engine to 220bhp!

Are they not as good?

Your advice please

The general advice here is stick to those tuners that know about Saabs and their engine management set up, its a much safer bet. How much are they charging out of interest?

Cheers guys!

Superchips is around £550.00

Not checked if the includes VAT or fitting.

The feedback pretty much leads me in the direction of the specialists as seems to be the general opinion.

Before you perform any. It is a "material fact" and you are obliged to inform your insurer so that they may determine whether your modification affects the risk. If you do not declare, then your insurer may not pay out in the event of a claim.

Best advice is to declare or find a modification friendly insurer.
