9-3 TID electric power steering

Hi I’m new here and my power steering has failed after looking at the pump is there supposed to be something plugged into this empty plug on the electric power steering pump? As I can’t find a wire in the general area that is loose.

I’m having the same problem there isnt any thing plugged in mind but the other plug I’ve been told needs replacing and it’s the reason the power steering is going stiff any help appreciated is it an easy job to replace
