9-3 2008/9 OEM Sat Nav display should it list phonebook....?

Hi all,
Should my Sat Nav headunit lcd display show phonebook or whos calling me/or who I'm calling...?
It show a symbol in the top right hand corner of telephone when I'm on a call...?
