Bought this car used, so no security key. Ignition disables have to reset by disconecting battery. Hear a "clicking sound " I cannot find the "external arm/disarm" . Can I disconnect it, reset system, or have to order key replacement?

Southside, which year is the car?
As far as I know, prior to around 1994/1995, Saab didn't fit a security system as standard to the 9000, although the US market may be different. Before that, at least here in the UK, Saab dealers fitted a Cobra alarm when a security system was specified.

The later 9000s used a system that could "learn" new remotes so if it's one of those you should be able to buy one from Saab. If it's earlier, you might have to track down the manufacturer of the alarm.

According to VIN 1989. But DMV paperwork shows 86?? It is not an aftermarket, it is a factory installed. I will be calling them on Monday. Thanks!
