Basically, from my little knowledge picked up mostly from here, is that the trionic engine management system can adapt very well to differing grades of fuel thus preventing knock. You will, inevitably, find a noticeable reduction in power compared with using 95 Octane fuel (fairly common here in UK).
Also, and somebody will come along to correct this, but you need to be sure of what octane rating system you are using. I can't recall how it all differs, but if i recall correctly, it is significant.
You should find a post somewhere further down the page where a rad flush is described in pretty good detail (is pretty easy - drain from bottom of rad and refill via expansion bottle is how I did it).
