THIS QUERY DOES NOT RELATE TO 5TH BOW LATCH MOTOR

Hi all, got a case of a rebellious roof - everyone's worst nightmare but very common on the GM 900 as far as i can gather.

I am based in germany and after visiting a Saab garage they told me the problem was the RH (passenger side) 5th bow motor. They then proceeded to quote me 2500 euros for parts and labor.

I found the part required second hand for less than 20 euro and wanted to try and fit it myself, then take it somewhere with a TECH2 to programme.

I have searched high and low on forums, youtube, saab manual etc and for the life of me can't find any instruction of how to get access to the 5th bow motor and remove/replace it! once you raise the tonneau and the 5th bow a little you can easily see the motor but it appears that for access you have to remove the body and/or entire roof?!!!??

Can anyone here please offer some guidance?

First post so apologies if it lacks clarity.
