'97 model year 9000 has 4 flashes on check engine light, which I think means coolant temperature sensor.
Anyone any ideas whether its just a sensor fault or something more major?
If it is just a sensor fault where is it and is it easy to fit oneself??!!

the coolant temp sensor is located in the cyl head,underneath the centre of the inlet manifold.It should have a light blue shroud on it.
small hands needed for this.Be careful if you remove it,my old one is stuck somewhere near the starter

Forgot to mention the temperature gauge appears not to be working also !
