Hi All,

I am looking at getting said exhaust. If i stick with my standard cat, will i be wasting my time?

Can you purchace the sports cat seperately later?

Has anyone got the exhaust with the standard cat and noticed an improvement?

Thanks all for your thoughts!

No, but probably a bit of your money IMO...

The JT is a very free-flowing design from downpipe to exhaust outlet. Any restriction that you place in the system will significantly reduce the performance benefit of the components after it.

If you don't want to go the whole hog with a cat just now, than the most cost effective thing to do is simply replace the downpipe.

Of course, if you want the nicer sound, there's no reason why you shouldn't buy the rest of the system

One thing to beware of though- if you con't buy the sport cat now, will need to at least buy a new downpipe as well later if you upgrade. This is because in order to fit your standard cat, you need to use flange adpaters. To use these, you need to cut about 40-45mm off the downpipe alone and presumably the same amount off the mid section for another adpator.
