I have a no-start condition and have done the following; fuses and relays, change the CPS, replace the fuel pump and fuel filter. I am at the point of replacing the ECU. I also have a 2001 Viggen parts car. Although the numbers do not match, would it be possible to put the 2001 ECU in the 2000? Both cars are the same configuration-convertibles.
Thanks for your help. Firehawks

A quick and dirty test to verify whether you have a fuel or ignition problem.
Pour a thimble or bottle cap full of fuel down one of the vacuum lines leading to the intake manifold and crank the car over.
If it attempts to start, you probbaly have a fuel delivery issue.
The ECU may or may not start the car...depending on immobilization code but these ECUs hardly ever go bad.
